Thermostat gasket Replacement Part

Can anyone tell me if the thermostat gasket has to be a mitsubishi part or can I get one off the shelf somewhere?

I have the thermostat that came with a hose kit and am considering doing it while I replace my radiator.

there is no thin paper like gasket.. its just the rubber o ring that sits around the thermostat.. its about 3-4mm thick so when you tighten the bolts, it compresses this
