Thrust bearing

Im fitting the motor back into the car and got the M/T bolted up to the motor. The trouble im having is I cant get the thrust bearing to lock into the pressure plate. as for as I know it should just push in and lock there witch it doesn't it comes back out.

any help or advice would be great.

push the clutch leaver as far towards the engine as it goes and should just click in position when returned back ull tell when its,engauged

yer that's what I have been doing but it just comes back out

I just rang Adelaide clutch services an they recon it's a faulty clutch
