So i finally got the engine out for bearing changes but a checklist..

So while i have the engine out for crankshaft/Conrod bearing change,
i am pondering what else i should get done.
Shrink wrapping broken wire shielding, renew bad vacuum/water hoses.
What else would you suggest i get done?

I’d replace all the hoses while the engine is out. Much easier to get to and that should see you approximately 5 years before replacement again

I would put better rods in if it was me

Check all engine mounts, and replace if damaged/broken etc...
Clean engine bay (if your picky)
