I think Im about to join the my auto gearbox just died so I replaced it with a manual club. Gear changes haven't really been smooth for a while, but even with a cooler and regular changes of fluid the shifts continued to get worse. A couple of weeks ago it started to slip when trying to engage 2nd or 3rd, today it stalled on me when I had to stop at a crossing and if I listen closely I can hear a grinding when changing into 3rd now.
Im purchasing a manual conversion kit. Im hoping I can let it sit in my garage for a few more months while I save more money for labor cost.
Anyway there ya's go, another auto box biting the dust, get the wave spring fix done :)

Make sure you put away about $1.5k for labour, and for heaven's sake, choose your mechanic wisely!

Yup was expecting at least 1.5k, probably even more like 2k. Finding a good mechanic will be hard.
