hey guys only new here but have been dwelling on the idea of fitting 1x t04z garrett on my leggy instead of 2x td04
have both sets of turbos handy just cant decide
the car dosen't move often so time is of no issue
have access to all mechanicals needed to perform task
so has anyone done a big single conversion as this is the way i am leaning as the td04s were originally destined for the old padge
and the t04z was just a spare off my old riceline

Single turbo has been done a bit in other countries but not here.
Either setup works but twin is probably cheaper as there are now manifolds available and less modifications required to the piping.

T04z is a too big of a turbo for a legnum. You will not make good boost till 4500-5000rpm. It will not be an enjoyable car to drive at all. If I were you I would not build a new setup based on what turbo you have laying around.

If you are going single turbo, a GTX30r is a better size. Look at a 58mm precision billet core turbo also, would suit it well and not cost too much either. Sell the T04z and you are ahead.
