[VIC] Portsea Cruise - CONFIRMED Sunday 15th May 2011

Lads and ladies,

I'm planning a pleasant Sunday drive in a couple of weeks, would be nice to have some tagalongs...

When: Sunday 15th may
Where: Meet at the usual spot, Blackburn car wash, corner of Linden St and Maroondah Highway at 9:am-ish
Proposed route: down springvale rd to Wellington rd, head west until we cross the nepean, proceed seaside down to Portsea where we stop for lunch etc, then head up the eastern side of the peninsula through Flinders, and follow Frankston-Flinders rd up to Dandenong-Hastings rd then back up to the monash and then home.
What to bring: walkie-talkies, full tank of fuel.


Feel free to bring mates, but everyone needs to understand that any dangerous/antisocial behavior or anything that wound further the already poor opinion of import car drivers will result in not only will I tell you to fuck off but I'll most likely report your ass to the hoon hotline.
Bottom line is, have some fun but don't be a dangerous dickhead while you're around the rest of us. If you want to do fully sik skidz or the maddest driftz yo, go be somewhere else with the commodore bogans!

Great photo-op (where the first cruise was held) at Portsea back-beach too. Hopefully my pay will go in on the Saturday morning for these shenanigans.

Sunday would be preferable for me too, as it would allow me to work saturday (never-ending quest to balance out the expenses...)

Alternatively, work saturday so i can spot Gav on sunday

So far one for saturday and two for sunday...

Got sent a flyer at work for the National Motoring Heritage Day. It's a nation wide day to get people with classic cars out on the road, the Melbourne destination is Yarra Glen racecourse.
Could possibly work it into the cruise if enough of you are keen.
Have fun guys, maybe a little less drama this time.
