I have some methods hahahaha thing is I couldnt undo it, no idea why. I did the same thing 5 times before without any problems... First Ive used 12 point socket, then 12 point spanner, then 6 point socket and then I knew it I have big problem lol, even vice grips didnt help so I had to use old and awesome hammer and chisel haha

Fitted a replacement altenator today. Been having charging issues over the past month where car would charge up to 16.5 volts but as soon as I came off the throttle it stopped charging all together. Went with the jaylec counterpart as pricing was fairly similar.

New one was slightly bigger so fitting that slut was sooooo fiddly. But surprisingly easier than I thought it would be.

Much geed :p

The last two night I've been working on my Super VR-4 after it sitting in the garage untouched for months with no engine in it.

Started stripping out the interior which is quite gross.

Piston is not measured at the crown...refer to the engine manual, it's measures at the skirts. Also if you're using forge pistons you'll have to check piston to wall clearance as forg pistons requires more piston to wall than cast....so if you don't have the tools it's best to gt machinist to do the job
