I don't mind when its something a little different so you are telling people what it is. I don't have any VR4 badges on my car so I have VR4 as the number plate. Would you rather plates like HEKTIC or WETYET or some other shitty plate. VR4 was better than 987735 or what ever my other plate was and it only cost me $120. I guess its one of those each to their own things.

Still think it would be cheaper to stick the badge on instead :p

I still couldn't believe someone had already grabbed 'PANZER' as a custom NSW plate. Had to go with PAN-23R instead.

Are there lots of Germans in NSW?

I'm still rocking the shitty standard black on yellow plates on the Super, & they do look shite indeed.

Admittedly my statement was a sweeping generalisation but, most really are rubbish. However I agree with what you're saying, I also gave a little example of one in the next paragraph, which I thought was different.

Do you pay the same amount for 6 letters as you do say... for 3?

You can get up to 7 characters for only $120. Bargain if you ask me :)

I saw a car with 'INCY' as the numberplate yesterday.

The car was an Alfa Romeo Spider. Thought that was clever :)

$120! Sheeeeeet... That is good, think my local friend paid $390 for his back in the day you could do bulk deals (i.e. get a bunch of lads from car club and buy say... 10 plates together). Don't know what they are now but safe to say that it'd be more than $390.

Saw green ute with "666 CUNL" the other day. From a distance, it looked like it ended with a 'T'. CUNL seemed a bit cleverer-er.

I had OMG-70M and WTF-70M for a while.

Then SH11RO which was White in Japanese, or I Dont Like in Korean which I learned later lol. It's also the name of Anime characters or something as well apparently haha..

Now I have GE11ST which is Ghost in German.

I don't agree so much on brands/models of cars in plates though, but each to their own.

I always like decrypting number plates when I see them while driving, can add interest to a boring drive or a good laugh between whoever is in the car (or myself).

GEI - IST or gayest... But only on first glance.

Which I still don't understand, seeing as most ghosts are white, not black :p

Perhaps TDI-WTF would have been a better choice? :)

^ HAHA. There was someone in my old Merrylands area who had FARQU2. No idea how they got that past the RTA.

I saw a standard issue VIC plate the other day where the letter part was "FUQ". I didn't think the system allowed certain combinations... lol
