Where do I get just the bearing from? I'm not after the hub kit itself, I have the mitsu part number but it's only for the Hub assy (MR455004, or MR949097, can't tell if it's the first or last number), not the bearing.

Would anyone know where I can get it from? I've tried googling but it's like a needle in a haystack.

The reason I ask is because when my brembos go on and we pull everything apart, I might as well just replace them while I'm there. They'll be 80,000kms old by then, so it can't hurt to just do it anyway.

The hub kits are pretty expensive (I find them around 140-150 POUNDS each!!), so I'm just after the bearing.

Cheers guys

what I would suggest is.. pull the bearing out of the hub and go to a bearing specialist and get them to cross reference it.. they'll probably have more luck with it.. and you might end up with a better set of bearings that what you would get if you were to buy a hub kit..

There is info on ClubVR4 about where to source the bearing and part number but most people just fit a new hub as a press is needed to remove it and refit.

wheres my beating stick??? oh look its over by the search button>>>

Front Hub Carrier Bearing . . . . . . . Koyo DACF1092A (from a bearing supplier)
Rear Hub Carrier Bearing . . . . . . . . NTN HUB111 (from a bearing supplier)

Yea isn't that listed in the Parts Guide Carsten?? Oh wait, there it is...

Paul I recommend calling a couple of bearing places in the Yellow Pages - if they can't help you they'll almost certainly know who can :)

Sorry guys, my search function failed me...

But hey...you all can sleep soundly knowing you answered my question :D

SA: I'm pretty sure my old man can get them through his work, so I needed the part numbers for him to check it out :) Cheers!

the rear no..hub111 is in fact he whole hub...i replaced mine last week..$340.00 genuine.

Fred, if you were in QLD I would've borrowed that old hub and maybe see if we can take it apart so we can pull the bearing apart and minimize the cost & expenses in replacing the whole part..

just had my front o/s wheel bearing done, got the replacement from Camskill but it did come as a compleat unit £145.00

I got a set of front hubs, arriving tomorrow. VERY cheap :) Gotta love the fact my dad's work can get these parts in!!!!

I'm looking at about $300 for both front hubs, complete units.

For information's sake. I asked my old man if he'd supply hubs to OZVR4 members for that price and he was happy to do it.

So if anyone needs hubs for the VR4s, just shoot me a PM and I'll pass the details on for you. The price will be $300 for BOTH complete hubs. I'll be picking them up on Saturday, so I'll take some pics for you all.
