Which OpenPort Cable?

Hey guys;

I'm wanting to buy a Tactrix OpenPort2.0 cable; but which one?

They range from $169.00 - 189.00 USD with the identical descriptions.

If anyone can shed some light; or a better place to buy one, I would appreciate it. I will be buying evoscan also as a side note.

Yep thats the cable I'm looking at... which one though? there is 3 listed with different prices.

I notice on the Tactrix website they list x2 options; with a reflash connector?

WITH connector: $179.00

I'm guessing I'll need that connector if I am planning on flashing my ecu?


Sorry for the noob questions; just want to make sure I'm not buying something I don't need / not buying something I do need.

Get the one with the reflash attachment, just incase.

You pay in USD from both, so it comes down to postage costs really, I bought from limitless at evoscan.com

can you still use the the 1.3u cable for $137usd? thats the one i'm looking at but after finding this thread i'm not to sure which one to go. any help?

you can use it to log the ECU, AYC and ABS and also bleed you AYC system if doing a service. HOWEVER you will NOT be able to re-flash your ECU - so it depends what you want to be able to do.

I want to re-flash the ecu so i guess i'll go ahead and purchase the 2.0.
