Ah but Brad, you also have the hindsight of seeing all the other Galant/Legnum 8G variants in NZ that weren't VR-4's like the ST-R (2.5L V6 NA?).

I know when I visit NZ in three days' time I'll see a whole bunch of them and so will the Katie-girl.

Now what can you do with the Super VR-4 :D

You know, I'd be tempted to have a Super VR-4 instead of the Auto Facelift Indigo VR-4, but Super's don't come with Sunroof's, and (to the tune of meatloaf) I'd do anything for Legnums, but I won't do that! No way in hell I'd try and get one of those into a car that didnt come with one!

And Gav - there aren't any other 'good' variants.

The 1.8 and 2.4 GDI engines are CRAP, the 2.5l V6 has more power and torque and is smooth. The 2.4 GDI is like a tractor engine and is very harsh over 4000rpm. The only other option would be the 2.0l V6 6A12 which revs to 7000rpm but is quite rare and is only available with the poverty pack light grey interior which looks cheap and very plasticky

i want to find the most flogged out looking legnum, forged internals, T04Z + external gate.

just seeing the look on peoples faces as a shitty looking wagon is lighting up all 4 wheels on gate past them would be good enough for me :D

then i'd also want another flogged out legnum, get a lift kit fitted to it, and some great big 4wd tyres put on it, and go bush bashing!

i would also like 3 legnums:). first the on i've got (white FL type s), in stock form with a decent stereo and some 18" bronze work emotion cr kai wheels.

second one. a red super with facelift manual gearbox and same power as bradc's second legnum, stripped and prepped for the track, full cage and bracing, brembo's & drilled and slotted rotors all round and a set of black buddy club p1's.

third and final leggy. black facelift bulit for show as well as go, all the shiny bits in the engine bay, same power and brakes as the one above, full custom stereo install with tv's and huge boot display and some crazy 19" chrome dished wheels :D
