Paul, I'm sure the debonair had it around the other way? Sure I've seen a pic somewhere with the engine on the passenger side.

Anyways....

Ah righteo. I've never actually seen a pic of the 8A80 in a Debonair, just that the 6G74 GDI was the same orientation as ours, so I assumed the 8A would be the same, being in the same car.

I'll have to trawl for some pics.

Even if it was the other way around and money was no object, I'd make it fit

Would be great, but expensive I imagine with all the options. I've only got 45,000 (hopefully genuine) km on my Leggy at the moment so she feels like a new car for a fraction of what my dream Leggy would have costed.
