Hello.

Can anyone please confirm the feed and supply lines for my automatic transmission cooler.
The photos are of the lines entering / exiting the transmission.
Is the bottom line the feed for the AT cooler?

Cheers

This explains why the transmission fluid is always cool.
The external ATF cooler has been place after the radiator cooler

The best setup with an external cooler is to remove the radiator cooler from the system and add a thermostat. Otherwise it takes ages to warm up and can over cool. I did some on-road datalogging of the ATF temps with no thermostat and it took up to 30 mins for the ATF operating temperature to be reached. With the thermostat shifting improved dramatically from a cold start.

This has been plaguing me for a while, too cool and always jerking gear changes first off in the morning.
The Derales 13011 kit has some terrible instructions with it. Pretty sure the top line from our auto lines connects to the top line (thermostat half) and recirculates back when cool, opening up only at temperature to flow to the cooler and then back through the bottom where the "made is USA" stamp is.
Fitting was easy other than that stupid 12mm hex head going back in for the auto splash guard.
