Auto selector button broken

Hi, lent my car to my son this morning, he came back and told me the button in the auto shifter (on the top) has come off completely. Having a look at it it appears to have snapped off inside the button, is there a fix for this or do I have to get another selector??

Managed to get it apart, appears the plastic retaining lugs have broken off the button section.

Had the same happen. Also the same as an early mirage.

Mine broke, but it still sits in there quite nicely and balanced. I just have to remember to move it out of park sloooooowwwwllyyyy or the button flies off into the back seat.

Press and hold the button when shifting PRND etc. Same thing happens with Magna's, the shift mechanism "pops" up and hammers the underside of the button. You'll break the new button too otherwise
