As many of you will know, Mitsubishi recommends three lubricants for the AYC diff:

Hypoid gear oil is just a standard 80W90 GL5 or higher machine oil, so that's easy enough. And ATF-SPIII is simple enough, too. What gets more complicated is the 'AYC Fluid'. Partly because most people aren't using this at all in their diffs, and partly because no one can tell me exactly what the specs for it are.

So today I drove down to Amcap, our friendly Mitsubishi (and every other brand, it appears) parts distributor, to take a look at a 1L can of genuine Mitsubishi AYC fluid.

My intention was to jot some specifications down and talk to some lube specialists about possible replacements. But then I came across this:

Yup, not useful at all for someone that can't read Japanese.

So if anyone can read this (or knows someone who can) and can give me a translation I'd REALLY appreciate it!! Here's a better pic for improved readability:

Hmm looks like the info I want isn't included. Here's the gist (thanks Dan)

Dia Queen AYC fluid / Active Yaw Control fluid

from the top on the back

only take oil out when cold
dont get it in your eyes/use eye protection
dont get it on your skin
dont drink it
keep out of reach of kids

next is just what to do if the above occurs.
next part is difficult to read but basically it say, the way to ****, follow the instructions and do it that way, if your not sure contact the shop that you bought it at.
lastly it says how to store it. out of sunlight with cap on etc.

But would it make your legs work at differing speeds when you walk/run around corners?

I'd be useless with LSD legs, I have enough trouble walking straight when I'm drunk as it is :D

In that case, an automated system that distributes power to the legs that need them would be vastly beneficial! :D
