hey guys, noticed that my car has started stalling every now and again pulling up to lights. there is an air leak due to the prev. owner using the wrong gasket from the throttle body to the intake manifold. replaced the previous crappy saas intake with some flexi pipe and a big pod filter to notice any difference, it no longer stalls but idles at 5-600rpm and sounds like a cammed v8 at idle.

second thing is a big fuel smell coming from inside the cabin. figured it might be because of the air leak the car is dumping more fuel but it seems to be more noticable from the drivers seat and behind the driver.

because of these im getting around 300-400kms to a tank MAXIMUM and i feel it should be more than that

thanks in advance

The second problem regarding fuel smell inside car, most likely is the rubber gasket around fuel sender/fuel pump area, under rear seat you'll see it, pop the seats off and notice a plate with 4 screws, once off and you'll see it and might see fuel around.

300-400km is good with a car not running perfectly.
