Does anyone know what the pulse per mile is on our speed sensor wire at the ECU?

Hmm, I can't find any info from my ECU settings, just a calibration number (260) which would have been set up to match the indicated speed to dyno speed - sorry!

I believe so, I'll check through the pile of notes I have from the A/T Pinouts, I seem to remember 637 was also mentioned during that journey

Dawso, my notes say 637 revs as well, so I can't confirm that 1 rev = 1 pulse, but I'll do some digging in the Japanese manual, maybe that might contain the comfirmation your looking for....

Found it kids.... Its 4000PPM as i'd thought. Found it in the Apex'i RSM install manual haha

Apparently its 4 pulses per revolution so clearly it mustn't be an exact science going on above figures

Dawso, I think thats a rough estimation, rather than an absolute formula based on 4x pulses / rev.

By my reckoning the correct pulse rate per mile is 4100.6085, Apexi figure of 4000, will result in a 2.5% error..... ie 97.5kph actual speed from 100kph indicated speed, or 97.5mph actual speed from 100mph indicated speed, same error value.

Anal but correct!!!! Checked against evoscan formula...

Yeah I know all that too lol, but speedo speed vs actual speed are not accurate either so close enough is good enough obviously

(Although REBOOT is only 1km/h out at 110! Woo!)
