Like not even a minute! And I will do that tomorrow morning when I head to Mty shop!
Thanks everyone, and yes I will, I'm really debating on 4g swapping probably what I should have done from the get go!
I agree with you! But for me it's so hard to find parts over here in calgary! I'm pretty sure I'm the only one in calgary with a galant/legnum vr4.
And for the same price it basically was to rebuild this motor I could by a 4g63 with everything here and easier to get parts!
I will cut filter open tomorrow, I did take the oil pan off and the upper pan off tk inspect the rods and some have more play than others which I assume is not normal. How long did it run for. Your unlikely to run a beaing in "a few moments"
Cut the filter open and have a look.
What was at the bottom of the pan?I will cut filter open tomorrow, I did take the oil pan off and the upper pan off tk inspect the rods and some have more play than others which I assume is not normal.
Thats wise. If they are going to fuck it completely let them do it then its 100% on them to fixThey told me to fill it with oil again an run it for a 1 minute and i said not a chance. Than they ask me to bring in the car to them so they can see why it's doing what it's so I'm brining it to there shop next week.
Did you bleed them with paperclip in the end while submerged in oil?So weird because i soaked the lifters in a cup of oil for a good hour before installing but who knows might have not been long enough.
