Yeah, I wouldn't want drive around with a carbon fiber or fiber glass bonnet and have it fly up and hit the windshield.
I'd definitely be buying hood pins..

I had hood pins off for a while before I changed from Sparco pins to AeroCatch and I can assure you it does get wobbly!

AeroCatch ftw, I have the ultra flush carbon ones. Pitty about the bolts used for fitting though, mine have oxidized a bit.

Update:
Before continuing the email correspondence with maximum Motorsport in Perth, I've asked speed factory in NZ if they could help us out.
They said they would ship to Australia for orders of more than one item.
So far they have said they will sell a fibreglass monster hood for $800NZD, with discount available for multiple purchased.
I've asked them to provide a quote for shipping but haven't heard back yet!
I'm thinking this may be the best option, and cheapest

You haven't bolted the pins on to use the hood pins yet?

Done and dusted dude... we had a group buy done last year in January!

..... not to mention they are quite the hassle to get over here! All but my bonnet have changed hands with many vr4 owners in the time already!

But the bonnets do indeed fit

Reviving an old thread.

I found a monster style bonnet from VIS for sale, I'll add the link below.

Anyone know what the quality is like? Its supposedly carbon fiber, direct bolt on. Would obviously need bonnet pins or latches.
