Evo parts compatibility

I'm bumping this thread as I'm interested in the gear swap idea. For those who have done it or know someone who has. How different does it make the gearing? Do the revs sit much lower in fifth? How much longer is first? I would still love to see an Evo 6 speed on a VR4.

unfortunately no, totally different mounting (macpherson vs multi link) also lengh might be different (never measured). Rear wont as well as mount asre different too

I don't think anyone has tried. if spline count are the same and length of shaft are the same.. should fit

seen previously some people have evo 8 steering wheels, are they a straight swap? they seem to be easier to find that evo 4/5/6 momo's

Tryna revive a thread here..but does anyone know if the evo 4-6 or any evo driveshaft or even eclipse/dsm driveshaft/tailshaft fits..im chasing some vibration atm and im just thinking about buying an aluminum shaft for an evo 4 once the spline count is the same for the t-case and maybe make up difference in length with a spacer once its not too great if need be
