Galant VR-4 vs 3000GT/GTO VR-4

Ok I'm looking up more info about each of them and the 3000GT has the 6G72TT and the Galant VR-4 has the 6A13TT. Now is this the same block just different bore and stroke or is it a completely different setup. Whereas a 2.5L vs a 3.0L.

Well looks like I'm SOL as the engines are swapped to either side.
That answers my own question. Looks like I;ll be searching for a powertrain. Or mabe I'll just fly to Japan and do all the work myself. Ship the shell then ship the powertrain in a seperate container.

I just grabbed random pics off the internet hopefully noone gets mad.

Heh, that picture of the VR-4 engine bay is about the worst condition engine bay I've ever seen!

They are completely different engines in every way.

After looking at each engine and engine bay I figured as much. So much for the cheap route of tearing a 3S apart and putting it into the Galant.
I agree its pretty bad.
