Well I also have a mate's birthday in town the night before. So I would have to be in town all night, straight to the meet point, cruise, then UFC. Hmm, think I need some more cement.

"Just making everyone aware before the rumor mill starts.
There will be a few coppers on Motorbikes at the meet spot. These guys are under a different boss than the last meet. Their role is to conduct random alcohol & drug testing. Sapol are worried about drivers coming strait out from town and joining in the cruise. Their boss has been instructed to be nice when it comes to defects, So please leave your track cars at home this time Once we leave the meet spot and start the cruise, they will not be joining us.

There will be no "Closing off the carpark", "lock-ins", "Defect blitz's" etc. Please be nice and respectful to the officers if they approach you. We are trying to build up a better relationship with these guys since Task Force Diagonal fell through."

Does the "be nice when it comes to defects" mean they just smile and ask how your day is going prior to the defect?

They were fine at the last meet. And considering some of the other cars that will be there (Nissans) it's pretty low risk for us in comparison.

I'm starting to get a cold so I decided to stay home to not make it worse. How was it.

Pretty sweet, I enjoyed it. The pace was relaxed and was an excellent feeling driving into a sunrise.

Only about three defects were handed out at the meet spot. One of them was due to tyres worn down to the canvas. So unless it was that extreme or obvious peeps were fine. No police presence along the route at all.
