Hi folks,
This should maybe be in the how to's so move it if you would like but does anyone know how to take out the transmission console?
I have most of it out but cant seem to get one part out which is near where the tranny is and the begining of the cup holders.
Please help?

Hi Bob,

there's a good article on ClubVR4 showing you how to do it.

You basically have to lever out the cup holder with a flat head screwdriver (and a cloth to stop scratching) and then undo a screw which is under it. Then there's two more screws at the back near the passenger seats.

cheers

... I already posted the bit that you probably wouldn't work out through trial and error :)

as mentioned, just join up, ClubVR4 and it's members have been a huge help to all of us, we need to support them in return.

cheers

^^^ What Lee said. Best $30 you can spend if you want to learn anything about these cars. Put it this way - how much do you sink in the fuel tank every week?

Yep anotehr vote for join up over here!

In mine the centre console/dash surround was just just held in by clips, very easy to pop it all out, its nearly impossible to break the clips. An auto console sounds like it might be a bit different though...

Money well spent

Hi folks,

Your prolly right but I would rather through the 30 to OZVR4 and somehow we work out an affiliation like a franchise for the material.

That way we could build our stuff a bit more as well.

But there is no need in re-inventing the wheel : ))

Thanks guys and you've all been a good help.

Cheers

ps: Transmission console is out not scratches cheers!
