Need to remove mine this weekend for a final tidy up of my efforts for covering the tiptronic selector on the super vr4 cluster I have.

I'll be keen to see pics of your efforts. Did you bother to cover up the AYC writing?

Nope left the AYC visible. You don't have to be super clean in your efforts as can really only see it in direct sunlight.

so if my needles don't work (rpm and speedo) whats the fix for that? (lights work just don't move)

Have you had the dash out?
I'd be looking at whether the dash is seated properly.

got a replacement... same result. seated?? the old one had a few issues so bought another so to have spares...lol this is the last thing to be fixed before RWC.

I've had problems with mine during re-installations where different bits don't work and I've had to wiggle it until they do.
But if multiple dashes aren't working then I'm not really sure...
