Well, at least it's a much nicer install. Results will be interesting.

2000 Legnum Mint with 44589ks when I got it. Now with black leather seats. After 3 years of fun some terminal engine bay wiring issues raised their ugly heads and it died. I Now drive a 2002 Legnum and have retired the 2000 to spare parts duty.
Where exactly is the gas injected

What's it like to drive and how does it compare to pre-conversion?

It's easy to empty the fuel tank :)

& being on LPG, it's now even easier with the extra fuel consumption

Laugh all you want! after talking to Joe yesterday he's already gotten 250k's from half a tank. Now that's not bad at all. So it'll be interesting to see what economy's like especially since it was just a quick road tune.
Went for a lovely 200k drive today in dad's BF an topped it up with $16. Ahhhhhhhhh petrol eat my nads.

250ks from half a tank? Some petrol VR-4 owners would be more than happy with that!

In all seriousness, well done on getting it sorted because it's what you want, but my misgivings aren't even close to being countered. More weight and more complexity are the last things these cars need, and then there's the ADMification issue. Imports lose their charm when they're Australianised.

Exactly. 250k on half tank.
Paul & Tiv have seen it & were blown away!
It's a very clean install & blends right in the engine bay!
Weight is not that much of an issue as its a heavy car anyway.
The spare wheel is gone & rear cover modified so weight is negligible!

Import cars in Australia as you say lose their charm but the mods
done to some vehicles don't necessarily make them atractive to all!

Give a VR4 petrol a thrashing & see what u get out of it! Jack.
At 51c a litre, I'm not complaining & don't care..

Gave the throttle body & idle control a clean today.
The car is quick as. Pickes up & boosts quicker!
Very responsive & no difference between petrol or gas!
IMO it may be quicker now on LPG!

U get a slime kit with compressor pump with the install.
If the tyre is shredded I'm not gonna waste my time.
I'll ring the racv & I'm with total care so get the tow!

Will be funny if the dyno shows the car making more power on LPG. There will be a big case of hat eating.

Apples with apples though, the LPG system would have been tuned but has the ULP system also been tuned? If it makes more on LPG then my hats off to Joe.

Even if there's a slight hit in power the cost saving of LPG is well worth it. Nice install and congrats on the great fuel economy.
