An excellent idea seen in the other sections is just a general thread for ideas and stuff for next meets, whether they be car wash meets, cruises, drinks/munchies etc. You know, just an area to brainstorm a few ideas.

Better resurrect this thread!

With a few weeks before Christmas, what's everyone's availability for a Christmas-style lunch-cruise?

So far, it's been down to Portsea Pub and some points in-between. Maybe it'd be pushing it to go for a longer drive... stay somewhere... late arvo blast (say Great Alpine Road?) and retire for dinner and drinks to recount the day before driving home?

or lets do takumi japanese barbecue again this year since the food there is so god damn delicious

I would prefer the more casual BBQ location and then a bit of a drive afterwards. Driving down that way can be pretty average around this time of year.

I'm down for a run down the beach, screw the Portsea pub though, it's too busy and a pain the the arse to get a car parking spot anywhere near the damn place.

The Koonya in Sorrento, down by the beach could be the go? It's a seafood place now, or so I hear.
