Hi all, came back to my car today at the local shops to fine some ass hole has reversed into me and keyed the whole car. NOT HAPPY JAN.

Hi all, thanks for the inspiring comments.....I think Unfortunately I made the mistake of parking my car at the back of the shops instead of the front where it is busy. Still being school holidays here in Canberra, that may account for the keying but not for the damage. Anyway, getting a quote on Monday, will wait and see what that brings.

Mate had similar happen to his Audi A3
He was able to get the whole car resprayed as it was a concern matching the colour to the rest of the car
As his car had never been in a accident he didnt want any of the paint not to blend, the insurance company agreed & the whole car was done
Might be worth trying to argue similar

We had the same thing happen to ours around 12 months ago. Its very frustrating, shows that whoever did it has no respect for anything.
Hope you can raise the $$ for excess mate. On the upside, at least she'll be looking sweet with some new skin. That's all we focussed on.
