Well, got the rear guards rolled. Seems like its done the trick, the panel beater said he loaded the back and tested with no problems. Haven't fully tested myself, will be doing 400km up to Te Puke on Monday with some stuff in the back so I'll see then..

He said the reason it was only that side was because the panel/guard had been replaced at some stage and was a good job so it wasn't obvious.

Only thing now is the massive gap between the front wheels and their guards!

235's shouldn't be scraping any suspension component on a VR-4 with EVO wheels, either the tyre is a bit of a strange size or something isn't right on your car

I disagree. mine scrubbed as well. 235/45 on Evo VII wheels on a series II / facelift. scrubbed on the right rear gaurd...
