Oil Pressure Gauge's Sender Unit.. Where to install it?

as the title says.. where should I install it? reason I ask.. it made me think if how much pressure goes through the oil pump.. and now I wanna know if how much pressure goes through it.. and also I read this thread by Mitsiman

as far as I remember there are 2 possible locations/spot that you can install it from..

1. add a sandwich plate on your oil filter mount

2. replace the Oil Pressure switch on the driverside (around the timing belt area)

I think I'm a noob.. :confused:

number 1 is easiest,

number 2 requires you T it in the same place as the factory one,
and theres barely enough room for an aftermarket sender, on a few mm between the sender and a pully wheel.

lol i dont suppose wanting one of these has anything to do with mine does it? :)

oh and for anyone who doesnt know... i got a pressure guage, and we had the wrong thread filter on, and POP off it went when the pressure was when the car just started up.. (about 6 bar or something before going back to its usual just over 1 bar..)
