Removal of Roof Racks for Painting

Hey Guys,

Going to remove my roof racks to get them painted and tidied up, does anybody know if they are all pinned from underneath? therefore needing to remove the roof liner?

Also, does anyone happen to know the original colour black? is it just a matt or satin or gloss? mine have faded a bit over summer...

there bolted, you need to remove the liner,
and there satin,

(colour code to the car them IMO)

I got a matt paint, I used kill rust on the wipers, trialling the same on the roof racks, I have already applied first coast, and it looks tops, I will post some pics up when done.

Couldnt really colour code them as the car is pearl white.... i was thinking about going a nice silver/grey coz my outlander hand that but wasnt sure on how it would look with the pearl? any opinions?

u can preview it on white on the mitsubishi australia site on the outlander

Getting the liner back on will be a two man job, the liners are massiveo n the legnums... haha but easy to get out.

Im thinking possibly a light greyish/silver actually? dont know, the matt looks good though, thinking of doing the black window frames also... im kinda spirited what do u reakon?
