Shipping delays - more grey hairs

Interestingly, my car is getting picked up from Ireland on Saturday by a mate, and just last night I spoke to a shipping company, they will pick it up from his place in Manchester on monday morning, put it on a truck and drive it down to southampton, and put it on a boat on wednesday, and I'll have it in about 50 days.

Obviously there are more free boats in England than in Japan!

BTW, I'm paying 850 pounds for the boat, is that an ok amount?

A skidpan day would be your best bet. It would be interesting to see how the AYC works in the wet.

True, they're meant to have tons of grip no matter what you throw at them... But then, if you can drift an Evo, you can drift one of these, and you can DEFINITELY drift an Evo!

Speaking of delays.. the shipment of cars from Shogun to Melbourne that was due last weekend has a new ETA of 6/7 of Sep.

Now I've already organised to take this Friday 8th off from work - so there had better not be any further delays.

Due Friday now apparently.. It's an 8 hour round trip for me to pick this car up - and I have no guarantee that it will be there.
What's the story Toll?! It is not a 7 day drive from Brisbane to Melbourne.

Bear in mind it's a local pickup to the depot first, then the trip down - they generally don't pick it up the same day you order it either

I did receive confirmation this morning that the car has arrived - so I'm off to Laverton to pick it up.. Wish me luck! Back in about.. 8 hours!

Well, my dented Super VR-4 didn't arrive as part of this morning's delivered batch to Laverton (nice work Sydo!). Details below as per the "Shogun" compliance thread.

Still, at least I know it's on its way. I'm hoping to get it rego'd and ready for October. It's got a few country miles ahead for it in Victoria plus a dollop of fuel to learn how it all works
