Shudder in first gear and horrible Noise!!!

My legnum has just recently started playing up. It starts with a strange whinning noise and becomes louder until it sounds like something is rattling around or clanging noise. It also shudders in first gear and makes horrible noises. I dont think it would be the clutch cause i replaced it about a few months ago and it catches like it should no slipping or anything. I was thinking maybe the gear box or transfer case because it sorted feels like its coming from the front

Does it do it when idling with the clutch engaged and no gear selected?

i dont think so but you can hear the noise a little bit i think its just not as bad

Very good chance that it is the input shaft bearing in the gearbox..

we're starting to get good at changing them

I would be inclined to drop the oil out of the gearbox, and see if there is any metal in there.
