Hey guys, I'm getting a suspension nock from the front left hand side, I've got coilovers and I've done lower control arms, tie rod ends and sway bar bushes done recently. Could it be the tower top bearing plate thingy ?

Swaybar endlinks would be my first point of call

I had a knock, it was worse under left hand turns and if braking while turning.
Was fixed by replacing my engine mounts which were pretty shagged.

What LCAs did you use, genuine?

Can't agree more !

Do it ASAP, they cost abit but worth it especially with what can happen. You never know it could be your aftermarket LCA.
What about your other 2 front control arm (the banana shaped ones) changed ? or still the original ? or ?

It will be the LCA.

Cheaper than having it written off if you don't. Getting mine back on the road has cost me $1400 so far will be closer to $2500 after panel & paint.

OK were they from world suspension on eBay or elsewhere?

Atleast in my case I suspect that they weren't good before being fitted, not enough grease in the joint itself and bound to eventually separate before normal...

I had a similiar problem, thought it was the struts. Changed them over but turned out my struts where fine. But my upper control arms werent tightened up to the chassis properly which caused the knock when turning up driveways.
Made sure they were tightened and no more knocks now :)
