Swap tailgates?

I like the look of the series 2 tail gate more than the series one, see the pics below for differences:

I think the lights look better on the s2, so my question is could you put a s2 tail gate on a s1?????

EDIT: Just noticed they are different shapes Any of the NZ or UK guys know of anyone attempting ths swap before??

you need a new bumper of course, the mounts are different as well so you can't just bolt it on.
