For anyone who's been to the SCG, what's car parking like? I'm considering going to see my beloved swannies take on carlton on the friday night. Would catching a train be far easier (I don't mind driving) ? I'll be travelling from chatswood.

Has anyone ever been to the SCG? If so, what's carparking like? I've been to ANZ stadium quite a few times by train/taxi but never the SCG. I'm considering going to see my beloved swannies love take on carlton on the friday night, but unsure whether to drive or take the train (if I end up going). I don't mind driving and it would be easier to then go out after the match, but don't want to park eleventybillion kms away or drive around for half an hour trying to find a park.

Ive been to the SCG a few years ago to see Swans v Essendon left after work peak hour traffic was a killer, would suggest catch train to central then shuttle bus to SCG [shuttle bus ia in elizabeh st, eastern side if station] or get there very early, bit of a wait getting out thou. I was a swans member for 10 years but dont have time to go on a regular basis

I used to be a member for a few years and travelled to/from sydney & melbourne to watch games a few times a year, but the costs got exorbitant so let it lapse about 3-4yrs ago

Just thought I'd post in here rather than starting something new elsewhere. Has anyone been to The Eastern Hotel in Bondi Junction? Opinions?

I work about 10 mins walk from there lol.

Been there for lunch a few times, good food! Peri Peri Pizza is sooo good.

Anyway that place seems to get packed out often, few friends have told me it's good there! I've never been on a weekend for drinks or anything, but I do hear good things

Wednesday nights at thee Eastern is their big night.. They also have chilled out sunday arvo sessions which is good cause sounds on sunday no longer exsists
