All parts are easily accessible without taking the engine out. I took the complete right engine mount and bracket off from the engine block to get more access. The timming belt can also be changed without taking the mount off. you just have to remove the right mount bolt and jack the engine up from the right side. This will give you enough space to change the belt and other parts.

Taking off the right wheel and all the plastic covers will give you enough room to access the crank pulley and timing sprocket.

You do however have to be careful installing the belt and getting your timming right. The exhaust, inlet valves and pistons all interfere with each other in certain cam and crank positions and you don't want to make a mistake and have a bent valve!!

My case involved more work as the cylinder heads also had to be removed. Getting the rear head out was the tough bit and I had to take it out with the rear turbo attached.
