The purpose of this thread is to post Tools/Accessories that we have found that are useful for servicing, mod'ing, detailing etc etc your VR4.

If you see a quality tool that is on special somewhere.... post it up

If you find a tool that has a particular function that helps service/mod/detail your VR4..... post it up

Also if you buy a Tool that turns out to be crap, let everyone know why its crap!!!!!

So on with the show....

Dremel 300 & the Dremel 200piece Accessories Kit
The Dremel itself is awesome, so are most of the accessories, but, and its a big but, watch the mini 25mm cutting disc's they implode easily.... Dremel 300 Series @ $90, 200 Piece Accessories Kit @ $75

Similar to Scotties idea.
Ice cube tray, put screws in the same order as they are removed from the car. Makes re-assembly a breeze, with no screws left over at the end!!

I usually put all my bolts, screws etc into disposable cups so I can write on the outside what each contains. Then if necessary I line them up in the order of disassembly.

So what we need is a row of magnetic cups with reusable labels... or a magnetic ice cube tray... or something :)

2 things I couldn't live without. There is nothing worse than something being on too tight and not having anything to get it off/out/unscrewed

Ratchet extension bar - A must have for any engine bay work

Long handled screwdrivers - Same story above. Get a magnetic tipped one too as they have mutliple uses lol

Geared/ratchet spanners rock!

+1, I have a set of Bahco's in the car for emergency breakdowns,

A little different to yours, Rachet Spanners are awesome !!

12-point with Dynamic-Drive Profile, 3 pcs set gives 12 sizes: 8x9x10x11, 12x13x14x15, 16x17x18x19 mm.

Combined into my Car Kit that fits perfectly into Underfloor rear wagon trays

Where can I buy this? The one I bought from Supercheap snapped into two pieces.

I think I also got mine from Supercheap, it was black in colour. I've used it quite a few times now and no problems. But I'm sure that Repco, Bursons and other tool shops would stock them.
