Hey guys,
My name is Kris, I joined up to this forum a few months back in search of a Legnum. I contacted Iron Chef (Kristian) about importing one, but I'm a little impatient and didn't want to wait for it to be shipped over, lol. Then I was interested in Troy's (Turboalfa's) Legnum he had for sale but ended up finding a prime 1998 model for a ridiculous price that I just couldn't refuse!
It's pretty much standard aside from an exhaust, which is exactly what I wanted as I already own two modded cars and wanted the Legnum for a daily driver. I've been scouring the forums over the past month checking out mods and websites already though
I'll definately have to suss out some suspension, rims and FMIC as soon as possible though. I'm hating the "monster truck" look
Anyways, a bit about me I suppose:
When I'm not working/bludging as an IT Network Specialist/Technician, I play guitar in a band. This was the main reason I bought the Legnum as I couldn't fit all my gear in my other cars and had to do multiple trips too and from gigs. I noticed that there were a few muscial minded members on the forum as well (sorry, can't remember who it was though). For those that are interested here's a brief rundown of my gear
- ESP Eclipse Custom
- ESP LTD Eclipse 1000
- ESP LTD MH-200
- Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier
- Marshall 1960a Cabinet
- HK Audio ELISE
I also own/ed two other cars: a Nissan Pulsar GTiR and a Datsun 260Z which I just recently sold (I know... I shouldn't have). The Z was powered by an RB20DET and GT3076 Garrett turbo (amoungst other things, lol), while the GTiR has had a fair few mods chucked at it over the years (Haltech E8, turbo, injectors, etc, etc). I was originally going to sell the GTiR instead but discovered low compression in cylinder 1 just as people started contacting me about it. So now I'm currently stripping down the GTiR and rebuilding it over the next 12 months. I figured now that I had the Legnum I'll have a lot more time to muck around on the GTiR and should start all over again from scratch.
Anyways, that's enough about me. Glad to be on here and looking forward to discovering more about the Legnum.
Cheers,
Kris
