Weird question! What are these badges?

Hey guys !
After talking to trotty tonight at a local car meet I've got something weird that I can't figure out !
When I got my 1996 legnum it had GDI badges on the side and viento badge on the back !
Can anyone explain this ?
Before you ask , I know it is twin turbo and manual !
I can't find any information online ! Any info would be great thanks guyssss!!!

Check the VIN in ASA to confirm factory specs. Very unlikely someone would engine swap a GDI. A paint thickness detector will probably show the panels were replaced.

Possibly just added . It had chrome gdi badge in the guards above the indicators and v6 vienti gdi badge on the boot ! Looking at the joins on the guards and boot doesn't look like there would have been major panel damage if there was any ! All the rego and vin comes up as 96 legnum ec5w ....
