Reason being is my Dad is 57 and has finally realised he's never owned a cool car but he loves motoring.

He read some car mag while stuck somewhere and has fallen in love with the RS4, has been for a test drive in one and it's great... except mum isn't comfy in the seats.. fail!

Anyhow he's was looking at a 2006 with 56,000 on it for $119,000

He wanted some other ideas. I wonder if an m5 falls into this bracket?

I'd buy the latest Honda Legend.. with $100k you'll probably have about $6k change..

SH-AWD, full leather, lotsa electronic stuff and others.. and looks kinda mean too..

i think it's got 225kw and does around 9L/100kms..

was considering it, but I can't justify the $$$..

I reckon if you compare the Honda Legend with the likes of Mercedes Benz C Class, BMW 3 Series, Lexus, Volvo S40, VW (can't remember the model), Jaguar and other models that I can't think of at the moment..

for the features, performance and looks the honda legend beats all those mentioned above... at the moment, I can't think of Toyota, Mitsubishi & Nissan having all that much features in 1 car that the Honda Legend has.

what do you think? am I wrong?!

*edit*

I didnt notice that he was looking at the RS4, still I think I'd prefer the Honda Legend because of it's practicality and performance, honestly? I think it'll keep up with the VR4 & RS4 around the corners and probably in a straight line too..

here's the spec sheet - you just have to type in your postcode in the box provided..

He likes that the audi doesn't look to wanky / expensive.... but that doesn't really make any sense.. deffo couldn't be happy driving a merc or bmw apparently.

Having done some research I've realized he will have to wait until he gets stuck again and has to read a magazine that convinces him of the wonders of some other vehicle.

Definately the R34 GTR hands down.

for that kinda money he can have it worked a "little" too :p

that'd be a very.... very... cool car, and you'd probably get to drive it!
