Where to get CV Joints

Where would i go to find some new cv joints for a VR4. Searched but never seems to have been bought up. Would Ralliart Bill be the only option or are they the same as another vehicle allowing them to be obtained locally for a lower price. I'm talking about the joint themselves and not the boots btw.

Best bet would be to download the CAPS program, look up the joint and then look up the part number and see what other applications it has.

Reasonably chance something else matches.

Get them Reco'd. Christian (Naughtika) pays usually only $50ea side for them to be fully reco'd including boots!

You wont want to buy new. I would hate to imagine how much they would be

cv joint specialist should be able to come up with an alternative..

but from what I could tell the evo cv joints should also fit

Yeah i was thinking of maybe taking it to a CV joint place and seeing what they could do. Going to take the shafts out myself so hopefully it wont cost too much that way.

Wouldn't mind getting new inner cups for the inner UJ's while i'm at it so going to a CV joint place would probably be the best bet. I'll call a few places and see what they say then.

Well i've been quoted $110 per joint to have the CV's replaced, seems a bit much to me. Anybody know of a cheaper place in Perth or if that is reasonable???

Been to these folks for my HJ galant. looks like they had their own non oem parts for most makes/models, happy with their service, even got a friendly lecture about lowered cars vs cvjoint life ! hah!

Thats where i got the quote from, have used them before and they def know there stuff so in all likelihood will be using them. Just wondered what else was out there.

Does anyone know if the CV from and EVO is compatible?? Need to get mine done ASAP and obviously no one knows about Legnums or which parts to use.
