ayc help!!!!!!!!

hay i hav just got my vr4 running good and the diff is making a loud noise when turning tight at about 40k and sometimes ill drive off and it will go louder and louder than go away. how can i disable the ayc b4 it causes any more damage if thats posible

Change the fluids. What part of NZ are you in? If it is Auckland I would go to Ralliart in Penrose

na im in wellington any idea of costs???

how safe will it be to drive like this should i take ayc fuse out for now

Take it to Mitsi in wellington and tell them to change all 3 ayc fluids. I would not drive it in the mean time and on the way to them I would take out the ayc fuse

ok thanks so if i need to drive it with out ayc fuse in its just like a lsd and this wnt cause any problems?

also im having trouble finding info on fitting aftermarket b.o.v in the search

Assuming that the problem is to do with the ayc clutch packs, then driving it without the fuse in will be ok. If the problem is with the diff gears then the diff is still going to die.

Search for BOV, blow off valve or possibly vta. There is also a 'stupid/lazy questions' thread, feel free to post things in there without searching

thanks ill take it 4 a drive 2mro with fuse out and c if it still does it
