Hows this compare to BF2, which I used to play for a while (in between the lag that is :I)

It's more infantry/armour focused. You don't get the hammering that a Chinese J-10 fighter... helicopters are the only aircraft.

Maps are a fair bit smaller and with 16v16, it still feels busy. Far better hit rego that BF2 as well.

im often recon, not a bad sniper but do my bit for the team by spotting as much as possible. so gain quite a few points from spot assists

hit registering is a bit shit with the sniper rifles it seems, 9/10 ill spot before i shoot and fairly often the bullets hitting wont even register as a hit. you see the blood spray but the cross wont show up to say it was a direct hit

bullet deviation, weapons seem reasonably balanced (harder to rape with a noob tube, sniper etc), never going to win without team work, rush and conquest and 4v4v4v4 death match game modes.

i find unless i play MW2 with friends online its very rare that people work as a team....most of the time the only thing you hear on the headset is some american dickhead having a cry for some reason

i might check out BC2 this weekend

From what I've seen/played/recall about MW2 is that it's a very rushed game in comparison to BC2. Also the maps are a lot larger in BC2 which means you can take your sweet ass time, go around the back and pop some guys off that have been sniping you and your team mates before you even know what's going on.

I got teh defib and immeadiately started revieving people. I managed to get 25 defibs in one match. Along with heals i was averaging approx 3-4k a match

How do you guys go about finding a decent server? That seems to be the most difficult part for me still.

I just type in "AU" in teh search. I have neglected BC2 also..

Formatted my pc and i am yet to install it.

just use the drop down box and search oceania, works fine for me.

I'm doing the Oceanic and sometimes the "au"/"aussie" search thing but still find it hard to find a server that I'm interested in (game type), isn't full and has decent pings.

I'm sure I'll get there though. There have been a few great hosts sometimes, then when I look at it next time it's empty.
