Well I have a basic route, the lookout on top of Mt Tamborine, just before where the hangliders jump, could be good for a photo op aswell as it has BBQ's across the road from it from memory? But basics are, meet at Yatala Pies, take the backroad up Mt Tamborine, down the Goat Track into Canungra and stop at The Outpost Cafe for a break, or alternatively the Tunnel for a photo op. then up the back of Beechmont, down the front and to Bunnings in Nerang. Feel free to make any alterations.

That's a great drive, I've done it a few times. Allow for at least 3hrs to do it, especially on a weekend.
