it gives me just less than a month so it will be cutting close to me getting my car back on the road,but if it is on the road ill be keen for driving,camping,spooning watever ay..

yeah they do.
the timing belt ALONE for like $300-$400 dollars.
for the price (plus shipping) i'm getting a whole heap of shit.
- timing belt
- power steering belt
- alternator belt
- hydraulic tensioner (OEM)
- tensioner pulley
- idler pulley
& water pump

so, THAT's why i got it shipped.

I've lost my license for 3 months for a speeding ticket from months ago so I'm not gunna be able to come cruisin unti I win my appeal (29th April) or get my license back. Minor offenses so hopefully I get a decent judge. Bit annoyed as I was only 10 days from my full license...Sorry fellas, I was looking forward to meeting you guys as I've missed the last few cruises but not much I can do I guess.

Blew up my powersteering pump last night

Well, we'll have to see if I can fix it up on time...though I don't know what the chances are to fix it on time or if this cruise is still 'going ahead'

Also, did you know that a failed steering pump makes turning oh.....so.......RIDICULOUSLY heavy, heavier than a non power steering rack, fighting against all that fluid I literally have to put my whole body weight on the steering wheel to turn at a standstill (especially in my street) ofcourse when the car rolls more than 40km/h it's fine just like the old cars

Yep, been there done that

What were you doing to kill the pump.....??

I have my old one still which pulled apart and tested and it seems to work fine once it was put back together. You can have it for super cheap if you need it.

Well....that's an interesting story actually...

I was actually doing 'helicopter' spins (yes I know that's a no no....thought I'd give it a go) and it was pretty exciting actually, especially when you're spinning at a standstill (and was on grass, not solid bitumen)

Though, I didn't lock the steering wheel (never do anyway cause I know that causes stress to the pump anyway) and wasn't on red line, it was a bit odd, but yeahh it pretty much made the same noise as your car Lee when you were on the Mt. Cotton adventure

I've dropped my car off to the trustworthy Mechanic to fix up the problem, so hopefully it'll be all good and 'better' this time

I've now had to delay o getting my e11 installed so i'm happy if we postpone it.
Seeing as though sine my last few posts more people have said that they're not coming As opposed to people that are. All good with the early dates of April???
