Because if it were a true CF part, it'd weigh hardly anything, and you might want the weight saving but keeping it looking standard.

Yep exactly, but in this case it's purely a cosmetic benefit which is why I didn't mention weight reduction as an advantage.

I checked the SuperGT site, but can only find the CF topped one. If I do get around to getting one, it'll be getting painted, so yeah, CF is wasted

Ordering with them is done via email so should be easy enough to ask when the time comes...

i'd probably want to remove the middle "slat" part of the vents at the front though, so it was a little more "open" like the evo 6-9 bonnets.

The problem with the front bumper was the IC, which European Galants don't have, therefore they didn't bother leaving a gap big enough to fit in an IC.

We didn't get charged for any tax for 3 of them, but we had to pay port fees... $125 ea if I remember correctly!

They don't as far as I know. All the Evo style bonnets you see on Galant/Legnums are just that, Evo 'style' bonnets. They're completely different bonnets with the same venting as an Evo.
