Anyone got pics of the CF bonnets painted Trigger Mauve? Can't decide between fiberglass and CF but want the bonnet to match the body colour.

Fibreglass is fine, it's the vented bonnet you don't want.

Sorry if this was mentioned part way through the thread.

I have the bonnet in the first pic but is an Erebuni model. I find it does a great job of cooling the engine and the vent is perfectly suited that it doesn't matter if it rains because it justs flows between the radiator and the front of the engine.
I much prefer the look of this bonnet as I don't think the Evo style suits the car, this enhances the shark nose a little more due to the lip. The side vent goes over the top of the battery and has no purpose but I suppose it could be used for an air filter. I believe it was discussed that the positioning is wrong for the airflow to be any use, I certainly don't find much water in there when driving in the rain.
The same style now appears to be made by VIS and also appears to be better quality, the Erebuni one isn't great. I don't use clips on mine but am still considering Aerocatches.

Got one on the way after another member kindly pointed out another source after the failed group buy.
Think I'll probably get my self some CF Aerolatches to suit also.

Just thought i'd post the source here in case anyone is searching for it in the future:

how much is the freight cost?

Still being worked out, I've got the HK >>> AUS Port cost, but still working on the inland transport portion i.e. from Port to my door.
Will provide an update when I know the full cost but may not be for everyone if you get me.

Love the work that these guys do in providing all the pre-shipping photos of the item though!

Yeah what he said, in theory there shouldn't be any unexpected customs costs but we'll wait and see depending on how they wrote up the invoice they attached to the shipment.

I called customs we pay 10% GST and 5% duty on shippments with a total value over $1000 Australian Dollars, so they guy i spoke to said i wouldn't have to pay anything. But hey its customs from the experience of some friends of mine customs pretty much do what ever they want and then charge you for their time.

We didn't pay any custom fees, but you'll have to pay port fees! When we brought 3 into the country earlier this year they asked us to pay $125 for each!

OK, really like the look of this
99MTGAL4DMON-010C_01.jpg

But it is to fit the USDM Galant. I have seen bonnets designed for JDM advertised in the US stating that they will fit with modifications to the support frame. wondering what this means as far as going the other way.
