Hey guys,

Has anyone tried or seen gauges on the stock monitor (the ones that are in PFL), kind of like the Skyline R35?

Do you have the optional MMCS tuner module with the video inputs?

if you can get it to a RGBS format I can get it on that screen full time quite easily.

I thought the format was composite? The raspberry pi does have HDMI, so should be able to use a HDMI to component, if that is the case. Problem is that the raspberry pi runs on linux

correct the tuner is. but you have to select it to view the unit. hijacking the screen is easier and can be done at or in the navi unit on both specs.

we are only talking video here.. nothing fancy about that. get it running and shutting down reliably then we can discuss getting the video out to the screen. PI with linux on a SD card doesnt like rapid loss of voltage (think starting car) with out corrupting a SD card. get around that side or things and you are well on your way.

You can always use a relay as a switch to power down while having it run a main +12v
