Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anyone knows if the speed sender wire from the gearbox sends the same signal to the ecu if intercepted in the enginebay rather than from the loom at the ecu.

Any help would be good, saves trial and error...

One last question,

there are 3 wires in that connector... any idea which is the one that sends the signal? or do they all cary the same signal? and if thats the case any idea of which one goes to the speedo/odometer?

In the that loom, there is 3 wires
one black
one black with white stripe

and a white/green wire, leave black and black with white stripe wired, cut and intercept/rejoin green white wire to access speed signal.

the wire of the loom from gearbox:
white/green wire is the wire that sends the signal from the gearbox. It will remove speed limiter if cut but will disarm speedo and all speed signals from the vehicle.

I have an RSM fitted thats all, wanted to intercept the wire in enginebay rather than behind the dash...

nothing special guys
