Help! Question for Automatic Trans mechanics...

Is there anyone here who is an Auto Trans experts?

I need to know whether incorrect signals from a throttle position sensor could cause the valve body to overpressurise the low reverse clutch pack causing it to burn out....

Any assistance would be much appreciated!

Don't worry guys and girls, according to some pen pushers at the warranty company, this doesn't happen....

According to the 2 different auto trans places in town with 30 years experience who have looked at the car though it is the MOST LIKELY cause of the issue.

GO FIGURE!

Heh, get written reports from a few well known gearbox repair places then take those reports to the warranty company. If they still refuse then tell them you will take them to court, they will probably pay up at that point.
